Artist statement 
Trough prospecting the everyday life, collecting objects and memories, I am asking questions by telling stories about identity and time.  

Carefully I observe the individual and her everyday life with focus on minor episodes, current events and personal memory to investigate subjects like identity, opposites, time and desires. I touch upon present, past and future and create connections between places, objects and stories. 
The stories I tell challenge the structures and rules of traditional narratives. They investigate identity and everyday life, as well as my inner world with its dreams and fantasy. In my work, I explore the concepts of presence and present. Through the idea of presence, I try to understand how much I belong to the world and how much the world belongs to me. I consider how my traces can connect these chains of possession. My installations use the present as a vessel within the larger frame of time, challenging its dimension. They retrace happenings in everyday life. They translate memory and the unpredictability of the future into direct ties to my present condition. I seek to control time itself, working on an intangible Babylon tower towards the place where hours run slower.
